Mother's Day 2015

Here we go, Mother's Day 2015 is here. The Sun Valley team is doing an outstanding job to get all our flowers off the farm, and in to your hands. The team is working around the clock and will continue to persevere until the job is done.

Please call on us for help as we get closer to Sunday, May 10th. We will help in any way we can, as we both strive for our goals.

Good luck, see you on the other side.

Lizzy on the Way!
Our Lisianthus crop is warming up. We currently have limited numbers, but our volume and color selection is going to be taking off in the coming weeks.

This flower is getting a lot of great press for its natural, "field to vase" essence. Featuring long stems with many blooms on each, this flower has great potential as both a focal and playing a supporting roll in bouquets.

Check in with our Sun Pacific bouquet division to see their offerings featuring beautiful Lizzy.

Year Round Tulips
Most farms run out tulips as we head into summer. Trust that Sun Valley will have tulips, no matter what.

The average high temperature for a summer day in Arcata is 61 degrees, so we may not have sun tans...but we have tulips!

Tulips are the third most purchased flower in the United States, and their popularity is only growing as consumers experience new varieties and revisit this classic.

Frank Adams Wholesale Florist, Portland, Oregon
Frank Adams is a locally owned wholesaler in business since 1954. They are proud to highlight American Grown flowers every week, including a list of products in small box lots each Monday for their salespeople to pre-sell at a smaller margin than their cooler stock.

This helps promote American grown flowers and gives their customers an attractive price to feature American Grown flowers in their business as well.

Hydrangea in June

Our Hydrangea crop is right on schedule for June. Looks like pinks will be coming first, followed by the blues. The warm weather is bringing the crop in early.

It's still a ways off, but start thinking "Hydrangea Happiness."

Peonies from the North
Peony season is on the Horizon!

Just after Mother's Day, we will have Oregon peonies. and then look for our first harvest at our farm in St. Catharines, Ontario, about June 24th.

These flowers are in demand! So start talking to your sales rep now.
